Rollovers using ImageReady 3.0

Step 1 Open PhotoShop and pick the image you created for the slicing assignment. Make sure the assignment is a PSD file. We will use the text layers that we created for links.
Next open ImageReady which is the bottom icom on the toolbar

Note: We sliced the images earlier in the slicing assignment so we can skip those steps which would usually occur at this point.

Step 2 We are going to change the color of the text by creating rollovers in ImageReady. Select the layer with the text that you want to create the rollover, and then click on roll-over on the animation bar. From the animation bar select the new button to create an over state for the roll-over.
Note: You must have the correct layer selected when you click on the rollover toolbar and pick new.

Step 3
Next we will change the color of the text. Make sure you have the over-state for the rollover selected then click on the text layer that you want to change. Right click on the text layer, choose layer style and then click on color overlay. PhotoShop by default creates the color overlay red. To change the color just click on the color you would like from the layer option menu.
Continue these steps to create all of your rollovers and then save using the File_Save Optimized As command in ImageReady.
