Module 6: Table Tags
Module 6: Overview
Tables help in the organization of information on a Web page. Tables can be used for displaying lists of information, control the layout of a Web page, and create borders around information. Before inserting a table it is really important to have a vision of what the page should look like when finished and what information needs to be included.
- Lesson 1: Create a Table (Lesson length 25 minutes)
- Description: In this lesson students learn how to create a basic table.
- Learner Outcomes: Students will learn how to create a basic table to manipulate the information on a Web page.

- Lesson 2: More on Tables (Lesson length 40 minutes)
- Description: In this lesson students learn how to add borders, captions, span cells, and align data.
- Learner Outcomes: Once students learn how to create a basic table the next step is to learn how to add basic attributes and values to the table.

- Lesson 3: Resizing Tables (Lesson length 40 minutes)
- Description: In this lesson students learn how to resize tables, cells, and add cell padding and cell spacing.
- Learner Outcomes: This is an extension of the previous lesson adding more attributes and values to the basic table.
