Module 4: Link Tags
Module 4: Overview
These lessons teach students how to create various types of links. Links help you connect Web pages to other information on the Internet. These lessons show you how to create a link to another Web page, create a link within a Web page, create an e-mail link and change link colors. Linking is what makes the Web such a powerful tool.
Module 4: List of lessons:
- Lesson 1: Create a Link to another Web page (Lesson length 15 minutes)
- Description: In the first lesson students learn how to create a link to another Web page.
- Learner Outcomes: To be able to create a link to another Web page.

- Lesson 2: Create a Link within a Web page (Lesson length 15 minutes)
- Description: This lesson demonstrates how to create a link to another part of the Web page you are on.
- Learner Outcome: Students will learn how to manipulate links.
- Activity: Lesson 2 Links within a page
- Handout/Resources Needed:
- HomeSite or NotePad
- Reference Books in Classroom
- Internet sites
- Suggested Assessment: Instructor checks them off from their monitor.

- Lesson 3: Create an E-mail Link (Lesson length 10 minutes)
- Description: Students will learn how to place an image on their page
- Learner Outcome: To be able to add images on to a Web page.

- Lesson 4: Change Link Colors (Lesson length 15 minutes)
- Description: Students will learn how to change the color of both visited and unvisted links on the Web page.
- Learner Outcome: To be able to manipulate hexidecimal codes to change colors in visited and unvisited links.
