Handout: Grading Criteria for Web Design:

• Required Daily Assignments: 20% of grade

  · This is primarily made up of the tutorial work and daily assignments that we complete in class early in the semester.

• Bi-weekly Reports: 10% of grade (find Bi-weekly report form here)

· Bi-weekly reports provide me with important feedback as to whether or not you are mastering the course content.
· There should be an entry for each day we meet.
· The entries should be written in concise but detailed language.
· The report is due every other Friday. Use email.
· You are responsible for setting aside time to write

• Web Site Projects: 50% of grade
  
  · The greatest factor affecting your grade will be the web sites you produce.
  · We will collectively develop the evaluation tool used to evaluate the web sites you create.
  · However, there is no easy formula for assigning credit since some projects may involve very sophisticated features.
  · I will rely on self evaluation, peer evaluation, and my own evaluation
  
  
• Group Participation: 20% of grade
  
  · Attendance/tardiness
  · Cooperation with classmates
  · No off task computer use
