you’re ready to develop your Personal Education Plan for selection of your high
school courses and activities, as well as for your first year after high school. |

Procedures:
Step 1 –Review the following resources:
- "Education/Training Options after HS" (from Course Description book)
- Suggested school courses and activities from Pathway brochure(s)
- Activities listing
- Grade-level Guidelines
Step 2 – Complete your Activities Record – WORD version. Save to Tech Connections folder as well as to a floppy disk. Print one copy and put in your portfolio
Step 3 – During Counselor presentation:
- Retrieve "Career & Educational Planning Card" and Pathway brochure from portfolio – keep this information in
mind as you complete the remaining steps
- Create your Personal Education Plan, using EXCEL,
following counselor instruction
- Link to your high school's plan--Bellingham H.S., Options H.S., Sehome H.S., or Squalicum H.S.
- Save to H: drive (Tech Connections folder) as well as to a floppy disk (A Drive)
- Print 2 copies of "Personal Education Plan" – EXCEL version. Place
one copy in your portfolio and give one copy to your Counselor
Step 4 - File floppy disk in your portfolio.
Step 5 – Check off "Personal Education Plan" and "Activities Record" on "Career & Educational Planning Checklist" in your
portfolio. |
