guide learning and teaching toward the Technology

guide planning for student improvement of technology
use.

Technology
is integrated into the classroom though daily planned
activities, or the Online Research Projects. At the high school level, several
courses have been created to help students be effective
users of technology. Tech Connections is offered to all high school freshmen
and the Web Design Class
offers tech prep experience for students. Biography Maker is an online resource developed
to support curriculum.

Technology
support services are part of two Central Services, Instructional Technology & Libraries, and Computer & Network Services. Teachers can submit work orders
directly through the intranet Help Desk.
Role
of Teacher-Librarians
The teacher-librarian in each building provides student instruction and collaborates with classroom teachers to improve student technology & information literacy skills.
Teacher-librarians in each building are the
technology coordinators and web editors for their schools,
in addition to providing traditional library services. Students
and teachers needing help with computers are welcome
to contact their teacher-librarian for help in their
school.
