Technology Integration Courses

Home Site Search

The Instructional Technology Department offers technology courses as part of a professional development program designed to meet NCLB and OSPI Technology Integration Standards.  The standards identify three levels of integration with indicators progressing from productivity skills to embedded use of technology in powerful teaching and learning.  Courses within the program titled “Personal Connections” are designed to provide Tier One skills with tips for classroom use.  Tier Two courses will focus on using technology to enhance student learning aligned with the district curriculum. Tier Three courses will be developed in specific content areas and will have titles such as:  “Primary Source Materials for US History.”

Technology integration courses will be offered at building sites upon request with an enrollment of seven or more participants.   Please coordinate requests through the building Library Media Specialist.  Staff from other buildings interested in participating in a course will be enrolled on a space available basis. All courses will be posted below.

To request course information, contact Instructional Technology and Libraries at 676-6526 or Techworkshop@bham.wednet.edu
