Technology Assessments promote student and teacher learning in Bellingham. During the years from 1995 to 2005, we used two kinds of assessments to determine how effectively students are using school district technology resources for productivity, communicating and research.

Technology Self Assessments
All staff and students at certain grade levels were asked to annually self-assess their use of technology.

Performance Assessments
Randomly-selected students were gathered in the fall or spring to check their progress in using technology for productivity, communication and research.

Current Assessment
In January or February of each year, eighth graders take the PILOT Junior assessment.  Certified staff take the PILOT assessment annually.
