Description:
This class focuses on using Contribute for Web site maintenance from a user’s perspective. It is appropriate for anyone who will be using Contribute for site maintenance, including teachers, staff, and Library Media Specialists. Participants will build upon the following powerful teaching and leanerning strategies:
Teachers provide a classroom environment that actively engages all students in learning
Teachers differentiate by using a variety of instructional strategies based on the assessed strengths, needs and interests of their students
Teachers utilize a continuum of support leading to responsible, independent learners
NOTE: This course is designed for staff members who need to add or edit content on a class or district web page. Sometime within the next year, the District will move to a more comprehensive website solution. If you are interested in enrolling this class, please contact Ken Russell at 676-6495.
Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
Open a Contribute key and connect to a web site configured to use Contribute
Use Contribute to browse to and edit district web pages
Add graphics, links, tables, new pages, and format content
Paste content from Word and Excel
Publish pages on their district or school web site
