It is recommended that participants attend both sessions.

Description:

Part I

Learn to use online research modules created by district teachers to support social studies and literacy goals.  Uses the research cycle by Jamie McKenzie as the organizing structure.  Projects start with a question and end with decision-making action.

Learn how to create online research investigations aligned with district guidelines and state Classroom Based Assessment directives.  Work alone or in a team to create an investigation to match the curriculum and learning in your classroom. Step-by-step examples will be provided on how to create and manage the research investigation, and assess learning.
