Description:
Covering topics such as One Search, AR Records and Access, Weeding Strategies, and My List, this course connects to the District Strategic Plan by personalizing learning and enhancing instruction. This course models Powerful Teaching & Learning by providing supplemental resources for learning. It extends over time--there will be follow-up sessions, on-site visits, and monthly staff meetings--and embeds in real work within the elementary curriculum in the library program, within middle school curriculum in online research projects, and within the high school curriculum in the culminating project.

Objectives:

Learn how to use One Search and its features
Learn effective strategies for maintaining and accessing AR records
Learn effective strategies for collection weeding
Add information in MARC record tags
Learn to use “My List” effectively for creating categories
