PROCEDURE:
- Project Planthis should include your site map (outline) and your
storyboard (sketch). The site map will list the page names and content in outline form.
The storyboard will illustrate the page layout and site organization, including links and
image locations. (5 pts.)
- HTML Codethe pages themselves must meet the following requirements: (10 pts.
Each)
- Minimum of 4 pages with working links to and from home page
- Include a background color or imageInclude a table
- Include images: 1)Appropriate size for page & 2) Captions/descriptions if necessary
- Files properly organized (10 pts.)
- Use proper spelling and grammar (10 pts.)
- Message--the content of the site must include: (10 pts. each)
- Page 1--Your name, graduating class, photo, educational and career goals
- Pages 2-3--Major achievements to date, in two or more of these areas: 1) Academics,
2) Community service, 3) Athletics/co-curricular activities & 4) Exemplary work
(papers, poems, drawings, paintings, photos, etc.)
- Page 4--Interests and hobbies
- Additional page, time permitting--Resume, school records, etc.
- Message Objectives: (10 pts each)
- Personal identity
- Audience-appropriate
- Organized content
- Peer EvaluationsEvaluate 3 peer web pages. Include 3
evaluations from your peers in your portfolio. Peer evaluations will be performed on a
date to be announced. (10 pts)
- RedesignConsider peer evaluation comments and feedback
in redesigning your web page. This is your chance to work out all the quirks!
- Turn in your website:
Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop your whole site folder (with your pages and images inside)
into your Class Period folder on S:\TechConn\teacher\Period x
You can’t open the period folder but you can put things in it.
- You will present your web page to the teacher for evaluation. During your presentation, you must be able to show how each HTML Code requirement is met in order to receive credit for it. Make sure your page is working well before you present it!
