task and requirements -- brief overview to provide students an idea of what
they will need to know.
- Refer students
to Student Resources on the Suncoast Security Systems instruction page. The
online tutorial at Florida Gulf Coast University has a user-friendly table
of contents, and students may find it helpful if they are learning the basics
of Excel.
- Create
the Suncoast payroll spreadsheet as a class, with students working
at their own computers. Each student should save their spreadsheet to
their H: drive to access for the next assignment (you might also want to make
a backup for yourself).
- To
see what the end result should look like, consult your T: Drive. The file
is named Suncoast.xls
