Use the Right Search Terms
List possible synonyms for your search. (light rail, public transportation, commuter trains)
Look for patterns
in your results lists which show other words that could provide better results. (ex:
transit system, post PCC-type vehicles, electric railway systems, tramways, light rail trains, light rail systems)
Use rare words to
help narrow your search (ex:
eagles = "halieetus leucocephalus")
Put
phrases in Quotations: (ex: "human genome project" )
Capitals:
use only when a proper noun (China) - otherwise leave keywords uncapitalized
