Goals:
- Understand
and comply with district network rules.
- Understand
rules and laws pertaining to plagiarism and ethics while adhering to district
Acceptable Use Polices.
- Use e-mail
effectively and appropriately
- Understand
basic e-mail functions & tools

Module Key Competencies:
- Understand
elements of district network/Internet/email system, including ethical use
of network resources
- Demonstrate
understanding of intellectual property and copyright law by properly crediting
work of self and others
- Send, receive,
reply, forward, save, delete messages
- Create folders
and organize messages
- Create short,
simple, concise messages
- Use appropriate
e-mail etiquette, including subject line
- Create, send
and save attachments, using virus protection strategies
- Use internal
and external email addresses
- Print messages,
documents, files
- Explain and
actively follow school and legal guidelines for e-mail use
