View a short PowerPoint presentation on ethics.

Sign the Internet permission form. Keep it until the end of class.
- Open Outlook and practice using these features by linking to these Office 2007 instruction sheets:
- Use Outlook to complete the following steps:
- Send an email with an attachment and specific subject to yourself
- Reply to yourself
- Reply to All (now you are being Cc'd)
- Forward that reply to yourself
- Use the Save As and save it as HTML
- Create a folder and save all of those emails into it
- Complete the Email Format assignment.
- Open file saving instructions and create folders as described on page 2.
- Open the Technology Self-Assessment and choose Save As... to save a copy to your Ethics, Email and Network folder. Open the file in your folder and complete the Self-Assessment to see where you might need work. (Type "x" at the level which best describes your abilities within each application.) When finished, save your changes to the Self-Assessment.

Open a Word document and, based on your Tech Self-Assessment, write
three goals you might have to improve your technology use this year.
Name the document "TechGoals" and save it to your Tech Connections
folder in your H: drive.

Check to see if your account has Internet access, by using these outside
sites: www.google.com, www.yahoo.com, and www.cob.org

You need a parent's signature on your permission slip for Internet access.
Take it home. Return it to the library when signed, so your Internet
and email will be activated.
