| Procedure:
Step 1 Study the Interview and Follow-up Introduction and Tips page in the Job Search Skills Handbook. Step 2 Select a partner and role-play both the Interviewer and Interviewee roles using the Questions Employers Often Ask found in the Handbook. Pretend you are the employer or applicant using the job description provided by your teacher. Step 3 Participate in Guest Speaker presentation. Resumes will be submitted to Guest Speaker, who will select 3 students to demonstrate interview techniques. Class will complete evaluations critiquing the interviews of the students selected using evaluation Rubric. Step 4 Word process a follow-up Thank You Note following Thank-you Letter Format included in the Handbook. Step 5 - Evaluate, edit & revise using the Rubric included in the Job Skills Handbook Turn in thank you note to teacher for assessment File in portfolio |
