| Procedures: Step 1 – Watch video of "Pathways in Whatcom County" Step 2 – Review "Pathways" overview sheet Step 3 – Review Pathway brochures – circle classes of interest, and careers of interest Step 4 – Record your #1 Pathway on Career & Educational Planning Checklist Step 5 – Open ECOS and complete Career Search. Select 2 careers either from this list and/or from the Pathway brochure. List these 2 careers on your "Career Qualities Chart" and complete this chart using information from ECOS Career Reports NOTE: On your own time, you can continue to research careers using the U.S. Government's
Occupational Outlook Handbook Step 6 – Based on your research, select the top two careers of interest from your "Career Qualities Chart." On your Career & Educational "Planning Checklist" in your portfolio, record these two careers. Turn in "Chart" to teacher for evaluation and points. |
