Streamlining
our ability to provide curriculum support for teachers and
students:
- Moving
from librarians individually searching for web resources
and compiling lists of links wwwcoz.bham.wednet.edu/student/science.htm
to creating lists of web resources that support district
curriculum and are available to all teachers in the district:
- Our
BSD Technology Plan also states our vision for technology
use, which includes that the learning community
“will be technologically literate life-long learners . .
. They will skillfully use technology to access, retrieve,
and use information…”
- We
have created templates and support for teams of
teachers and librarians to add to the collection
of online research projects , related to Social Studies
or other curriculum areas.
- Our
BSD Technology Plan emphasizes the use of technology to
enhance our ability to communicate locally, nationally and
internationally
- When
students and teachers wish to create their own web pages
to serve as communication tools or vehicles for sharing
information, there are guidelines and tenets to support
them in doing so
