Essential Question:
Given the responsibility to plan a 30 minute Veteran's Day Assembly for your school, what would be most important to share?

Supporting Questions:
These are the smaller questions that support your essential question. As you research and gather information about these questions, you will be able to answer the essential question. (Add your own additional questions in your research packet.)

  • What is the history of Veteran's Day?
  • What are the important symbols and memorials?
  • What are the branches of military service?
  • What are some of the ways Veterans have served?

The following questions will be important as you plan your assembly schedule and your Power Point presentation. You may not need to research these questions, but you will want to consider them as you work.
