Investigating Our Worlds

Students making answers . . . not just finding answers.

Because we believe that research should require original thought, we will ask our students to focus their investigations on two main categories:

  1. Making Reasoned Choices
  2. Solving Problems
Next

These pages were developed to guide teachers through the construction of technology-rich investigations which will be published and made available for students to work through online.

The activities are based upon beliefs and goals contained within the following documents:

  • AASL Standards for Information Literacy
  • District curriculum guides
  • District Library Media Standards
  • District Technology Plan
  • The Engaged Learning values listed in Plugging In.
