How can exploration of the Internet support a variety of learning styles and multiple intelligences?

Read and compare the seven intelligences as presented at the site, Developing Higher Order Thinking Skills and Multiple Intelligences. At this site, you will find a basic definition of each of the intelligences. After reading these definitions, try to think of a couple of ways you already use each of these intelligences in lesson presentations or activities. How can you apply what you already do to projects that utilize the internet?

The site, Multiple Intelligences Lesson Ideas will give you general ideas for incorporating each of the seven intelligences in an array of academic subject areas.

Besides the obvious Visual/Spacial intelligence, what other intelligence applications can you think of for the use of the map options at the site, Xerox PARC Map Viewer?

The site, The Shiki Internet Haiku Contest Returns!, would have a strong appeal to a student who preferred activities that used his or her Verbal/Linguistic intelligence. What are some ways you might expand this activity to incorporate the use of some of the other intelligences?
