Module 12
Investigating Curriculum Resources

Introduction:

The Tools for Learning section of the Bellingham Public Schools Home Page has several starting points for exploration which students can use easily and successfully: Maps, Today's News, and Weather.

Exploration:

Import your bookmarks, if needed. Refer to the previous lesson to refresh your memory.

Try this: Double click on one of your bookmarked items. This should take you directly to the site you just clicked. To get back just click the back button.

With a partner, go to the Tools for Learning section of the Bellingham Public Schools Home Page, and briefly explore two of the three items. With your partner spend 15 minutes exploring sites which are appealing to you. Be sure to add at least 3 more sites to your Bookmark List.

While you are searching please keep in mind the following questions:

  • Which sites are most useful?
