The following projects were created by teachers in the Bellingham School District to support the critical content of the grade level. Projects are posted as submitted to share with colleagues and to solicit feedback towards improvement.

American Political Parties Analyze data on major political parties based upon personal political opinions Create campaign poster highlighting strengths of your chosen political party
Supreme Court Decisions Review & analyze 3-4 court cases on a topic of interest-history, constitutional question, decision, reasoning for decision, effects of each case Design and create informational poster highlighting the 2 most significant court cases and prepare a speech detailing how the Supreme Court's decision has affected the laws of today
Amending the Constitution-Flag Burning Research history of flag burning events / study the pro and con arguments for an amendment related to flag desecration Create chart of events, make a personal decision, write persuasive letter to congressman supporting or opposing an amendment to the Constitution.
