Steps for this Project

will follow the Research Cycle
as you work through this project. The steps are:
Questioning

questions to guide your planning and your research.
Planning
Decide
on what jobs your team will need to do in order to get the information to
answer your questions. Use your Notes Sheet to plan these jobs.
Gathering
Use
your textbook, an atlas, and links to selected web sites to gather
information.
Sorting and Sifting
You have gathered a lot of information about your project. Now it is
time to arrange and rearrange the information to focus on what is important
to your project.
Synthesizing
Now
it is time to arrange and rearrange the information to focus on what is
important to your project.
Keep the guiding question in mind.

Evaluating
Does
your research support your decision? How well did you work as a team?
Reporting
You will translate your findings into a persuasive,
