Ski to Sea: Around the World

How does geography shape lives, cultures, and the environment around the world?

Bellingham Schools Research Investigation

9th Grade

Sorting and Sifting Information
Organize and select information that contributes to your understanding.

Now that you have gathered the information to answer your questions and have chosen and investigated 3 locations, it is time to sort through all of this information.

Ask the following questions while looking at your K-W-L Chart and Notes Sheet.

  • Have you found sufficient details to answer all your questions?
  • Do you have enough information about 3 possible host cities?
  • Do you need to develop new questions to adequately cover your topic?
  • Can you delete information that is not useful or does not answer your questions?
