Step
2: Open
the project Notes Sheet.
Use the race and city information gathered for your K-W-L Chart
to generate categories that your team will use in finding possible
sites for the International Challenge Race. Some categories
are given, but you will need to add others that will help you
locate and compare three viable sites.
Step
3: Begin
to study maps of the world looking for the geographic features
that are found in the Whatcom County race layout. (mountain with
ski area, river, bay, etc.)
Start
a list of possible locations that meet the criteria of the International
Challenge Race. As you gather information select
three locations to research in depth.
