- Each team member will be responsible for finding the answers to 12 answerable questions about their country. 3 questions per Mind Map category.
- Identify resources needed, and where to find your information.
Use your Research Record forms to record answers to your questions.
Don't copy and paste information without understanding what it means! Think about how to explain your findings to persuade your team that your country is best.
Be sure to record citation information on your sources! Use the tools found in Citing Sources for Writing & Research to help you with the correct format.
- World Geography Website requires school login. Use directions given by your teacher if available at your school
- Lonely planet Geography and travel website
- CIA World Factbook General information on various countries intended for use by U.S. government officials
- United Nation Cyber Schoolbus - InfoNation section allows statistical comparisons between countries for population, economy, health, technology & environment. Country At A Glance gives individual country statistics.
- World Atlas - Basic facts and maps for each country of the world. Many advertisements.
- Culturegrams - Subscription database, check library for availability
- Websites that you find by searching the Internet independently. Find 3 additional sources on your own.
