Steps for this Project
You will follow the Research Cycle as you work through this project. The steps are:
Questioning
Ask yourself this guiding question: "What are the components and steps necessary for human body processes to function properly?" In order to answer that question, you will focus in on smaller questions to guide your planning and your research.
Planning
Decide on what jobs your team will need to do in order to get the information to answer your questions. What will each team member do to make the team successful?
Gathering
You will visit various web sites, and gather information from library resources to find the information you need.
Sorting and Sifting
Arrange and rearrange the information to focus on what is important to your project.
Synthesizing
What decisions can you make, using the information you gathered? What information do you still need to find?
Gather, Sort, Sift, Synthesize
Repeat these steps until you have all the information you need.
Evaluating
Is the information sufficient to support your questions and your notes sheet about this system? How did your team work together to meet the requirements of the task?
Reporting
You will translate your findings into a presuasive presentation and a chart or 3-D model.
