Planning
Develop your information-seeking strategies
With your team, quickly investigate three body systems. Use your criteria sheet to decide which body system you could most strongly recommend as a medical specialty for aspiring doctors.
You may want to examine the outline for each, to assist in your decision.

When your team has decided on a system to investigate,
discuss your choice with the teacher. Tell which task each person
will be responsible for.
Examine the project rubrics, and plan with your team to collaborate
and complete ...
- the research process rubric on the selected body system.
- the teamwork rubric for your collaboration with your team members.
- the Notes Sheet to define and describe the structures and functions of the system.
- the presentation of the outline and chart as a group to the student audience, having each person responsible for his/her
part of the system presentation and chart illustrations. - an original life-sized chart or PowerPoint, or Poster and/or 3-D working model of the system that locates and depicts the major points of interest for your system.
- 5 test questions that highlight what your audience needs to remember about your group's system.
Discuss how your team will meet each deadline listed on the class timeline, distributed by the teacher. (sample document)
