Reporting Your Project
Persuasively present your decisions based on your information.

Now that you have done your research, you will create a PowerPoint presentation to persuade your parents to follow your itinerary for the trip. Your presentation will explain how each region offers resources for your parents’ work and activities for free time enjoyment.

 

You will also demonstrate your knowledge of the route by tracing the journey on a map of Washington State.

 

You will want to import pictures from the Internet for your presentation. When you find an appropriate picture from one of the Internet sites that you want to add to a slide, follow these directions:

  1. In PowerPoint, place your cursor on the slide where you want the image to appear.
  2. On the web page, click on the picture with the RIGHT button on your mouse. A menu will appear. Select Copy from this menu.
  3. Go back to your PowerPoint and paste the picture in by clicking on Edit and Paste (or Ctrl +V)
  4. You can then shrink. To shrink the picture, you will need to place your cursor on the corner of the image (you will see a diagonal arrow and the word "RESIZE") then click and drag with your left mouse button.
  5. You will also need to give credit to the websites where you got your information and pictures. To do that:
