Teacher Tips for This Project

The following are possible suggestions to ensure that the research module runs smoothly.

  • This research module will take approximately 2-3 weeks.  Plan on spending at least two weeks in the computer lab gathering, sifting, sorting information and creating the PowerPoint presentation.
  • Students should complete this project in groups of 3-4.
  • It is highly recommended to have a cart of books and/or encyclopedias, which support the research.
  • Many project documents will need to be opened and saved to a location on the fileserver.  Decide ahead of time where students will save their team files so that there will be daily access to them. Public Drive: P or other shared drives work best.
