Path to Peace? Tumult in the Middle East

What causes conflicts among people, and how do people attempt to resolve those conflicts?

Bellingham Schools Research Investigation

7th Grade

Synthesizing
Think about the best choice using the information you gathered.

Synthesis requires rearranging pieces of information until a new version emerges.

The research process does not go in a straight line.  Most times you need to repeat some steps. Keeping your guiding question in mind, discuss how the information helps answer the questions you posed.

Be sure you have completed the following:

§         Background on Middle East Conflict

§         War and Conflict Chart

Open the Decision Making Rubric sheet and define conditions that would be BEST, TOLERABLE, or NOT FEASIBLE in relation U.S. policy in the Middle East.

Based on the research you have conducted, complete the Think Tank Summary sheet.

Go to your teacher with evidence that you have completed steps above.
