Planning
Develop your information-seeking strategies.

Now it is time to plan how your team will work together, what resources you will need, and how you will gather your information.

What skills will you need to have to be successful?  How you will share jobs?  How will you determine which characteristics are most important in selecting a successor for Zeus?

Review the Elements of Civilization chart. The elements of a civilization are these:

Culture

Geography

Economics

Ethics/Belief Systems

Political Systems

Social Systems

What impact will each god or goddess have on these elements? Think of two questions for each element of civilization. Use the Note Sheet to record your questions.

For example:

Elements of Civilization

Apollo

Athena

Poseidon

Geography:

1) What region of Greece is most influenced by this god?
