1: Begin
your research into the race characteristics, using:

Cite
your information sources, by using the MLA Citation Format. Print your
completed Ski to Sea Chart for use in the next step.
Step
2: Begin
to study maps of your assigned region looking for the geographic
features that are found in the Whatcom County race layout. (mountain
with ski area, river, bay, etc.)
Select
three possible locations and gather information about each using
the Notes Sheet.
