Disease is in the Air

How does the knowledge of communicable and noncommunicable diseases help you analyze and evaluate the impact of real-life influences on health?

Sorting and Sifting Information
Organize and select information that contributes to your understanding.

Now that you have gathered the information to answer your questions and have investigated communicable and noncommunicable diseases, it is time to sort through all this information.

Ask the following questions while looking at your Notes Sheet.

  • Have you found sufficient details to answer all your questions?
  • Do you have enough information about the six diseases to pick two (one communicable and one noncommunicable)?
  • Have you collected facts that are not helpful in making your decision?

If you need additional information, return to the Gathering step.

Cross out any facts that will not help you in your decision making process. To do this, highlight the text, then click on Format / Font and click the box beside Strikethrough. Your notes will remain, but will have a thin line through them.
