Seashore Decision

How does the environment control how animals live?

Bellingham Schools Research Investigation

3rd Grade

Evaluating Your Information
Review your information and assess your teamwork.

Now that you have finished recording all of the information about the four tide zone animals on your Notes Sheet, you will need to compare the lifestyles of each of the four animals.  All of them are very different from humans!

·        Which of the four tide zone animals would you rather become? Come to a group decision, and be ready to tell why you chose to become that tide zone animal instead of the other three.

·        Also, be ready to tell why you did not choose the other three animals. What was it about their lifestyles that did not appeal to you and your teammates?

Study your Notes Sheet now. Come to your final decision.

Evaluate Your Teamwork

Be sure you are meeting the requirements of the task.

Check the Process Rubric to see how to evaluate your progress. If you have problems with your teamwork or your process, try to make a change before going on.

When you are sure that you have evaluated your progress, and made adjustments whereNext necessary, move on to reporting.
