Synthesizing
Think about the best choice using the information you gathered.

Sit in a place where you and your partner can both see your notes and each other. Talk about the decision you must make.

Which region best fits the 3 living conditions that you feel are important? Why?

Explain your answer to your partner, and explain why this region is better than the other three. If you and your partner don’t agree on a region, try to persuade each other by explaining your thinking as clearly as possible. Ask questions to understand each other’s thinking.

AFTER you’ve discussed your information and come to an agreement, answer these questions on your Decision Making Sheet to help you prepare for your report. Be specific!

  1. Which region will you choose to live in?
  2. What makes this a good region to live in?
  3. Why didn't you choose the other regions?
