 Steps for this Project

You will follow the Research Cycle as you work through this project. The steps are:

Questioning
Guiding question: How do geography and culture affect where people live?" You will learn how important geography and culture are as people choose a place to live. 

Planning
Decide how to share jobs in your team. Work together to choose the living conditions that are most important to you.

Gathering
Now you will search for information that will help you make your decision. You will use World Book and visit web sites to gather facts.

Sorting and Sifting
Look through your information.  Pick out the facts that are important in making your decision.

Synthesizing
Can you make a decision from the information you found? What information do you still need?

Gather, Sort, Sift, Synthesize
Repeat these steps until you have all the information you need.

Evaluating
Did you find answers to all your questions?  Did you work together well with your partner?

Reporting
Show your decision in a PowerPoint presentation.
