Do we make connections to prior vision?
Does the technology plan of the past mesh with the previous plan?
Suggestions:
Suggestion made that the past technology plan should be connected to the new vision and goals. It seems that some good leverage may come from the old plan and maybe we should put the form into a narrative form.

NEED TO ADD
This is core to our job:
· Expected responsible and ethical use the implementation of technology will be the norm throughout the school system by teachers, students, and administrators.
· Efficient and effective educators will successfully embed a technology environment into teacher, student, and school roles.
· A separate monitor and reporting system for ethical use needs to be outside of the vision and goals, so the system doesn’t interfere with teaching and learning. The expectation is that you will be ethical and responsible.
Promote Communication
Make recommendations to update and work on the interchange of information in the
communication policy.
A secure information environment to be established for business and student information, a more open environment for teaching and learning.
Parent access to student records and class scheduling.
Video and graphics piece needs to be added

Levels of Funding
1. Establish equality and a baseline (Support Tier Model)
a. Such as 5 laptops per classroom
b. Presentation station to support laptop
2. Create guidelines and funding for buildings to access dollars to accomplish building based needs
3. Creative district support for innovative goals and sharing of new “projects” Have money to fund innovative incentives
