Minutes
In attendance: Sherrie Brown, Steve Clarke, Bobbie Jaffe, Julie Kratzig, Gigi Morganti, Michelle Ouilette, Todd Smith, Jennie Styer, Phyllis Textor, Alan Doud, Ralph Hayden, Maria Griggs, Carol Egan, Zoe Kapan
I. The meeting began with a question to Dr. Kinsley about what “college ready” means to the task force. Dr. Kinsley confirmed that he meant our students needed to be ready for a four-year college.
II. The group updated Dr. Kinsley with their proposal so far. It includes a change from 3.5 credits of English to 4.0 and moving Tech Connections out of the high school requirements. We also shared that we are fairly close to recommending three years of mathematics, but are still debating what those three years should be. We shared that we still want to discuss the Foreign Language and Science credit requirements.

IV. A continued discussion of mathematics followed. Agreement was not reached about which math course would fulfill the graduation credit requirements. The conversation will be continued at the next meeting.
