Registration for Kindergarten Fall 2008 Begins in March!
Fall 2008 Kindergarten registration for Bellingham schools begins March 3rd, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Register at your neighborhood school. Be sure to bring proof of your child's birth date and immunization records. Children must be 5 years old before Sept. 1, 2008 to attend kindergarten. Immunizations
Immunizations protect the health of your child, and the health of others. State law requires that children entering school must have certain immunizations.
They include:
4 doses of DTP (Diphtheria,Tetanus, Pertussis) --The last dose must be administered after 4 years of age.
3 doses of Polio -- The last dose must be administered after 4 years of age.
2 doses of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
3 doses of Hepatitis B
2 doses of Varicella (Chickenpox) or parent-reported history of disease
