Kindergarten Early Release 2006-07

There are ten days scheduled for teacher professional development and collaborative planning. On these days, all elementary students go home early at 12:30 p.m.

On Early Release Days, only one kindergarten group, either AM or PM will attend. The students can ride the bus to school. School will operate from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., giving students time to have lunch and ride the bus home.

For kindergarten students who regularly attend the MORNING (AM) session :

Morning students will attend school on the dates shown below. Afternoon students will NOT attend school on these dates.

For kindergarten students who regularly attend the AFTERNOON (PM) session:

Afternoon students will attend school on the dates shown below. The schedule will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., not their regular schedule. Morning students will NOT attend school on these dates.

Note the following change in early release dates:  The dates below will be regular school days for Morning and Afternoon Kindergarten sessions.  Morning  kindergarten students will attend school in the morning and afternoon kindergarten students will attend school in the afternoon.

Parent Teacher Conferences

In addition to the professional development time, we schedule Parent Teacher Conferences . On these days, we use the "early release" schedule to allow our teachers to meet individually with you and other parents. We recognize that changing schedules is difficult for students and families. There may be concerns for childcare or other issues, so we wanted to give you information about the schedule and time to make arrangements. Please call the school office if you have questions.
