and figures on demographics, including enrollment,
class size, cost per student, history of expenditures,
ethnic groups, language groups, and staffing statistics.
Student
achievement shows results of student performance
on a variety of tests and assessments. These include
the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL),
Iowa Tests (ITBS/ITED), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT),
dropout and graduation rates, and district assessments
in reading, writing, and technology.
Access to the District's federal report
card, which is required by the Elementary and Secondary
Education Act (ESEA)/No Child Left Behind Legislation
(NCLB), is also provided. The Office of the Superintendent
of Public Instruction (OSPI) maintains this report on
their website.
Students attend schools based on
neighborhood areas. Attendance area maps provide
boundary information for specific elementary, middle
and high schools.
