Parent-teacher
conferences involve parents and guardians in their student’s
learning and support the individual learning needs of students
in attaining identified standards. Six half days are set aside
for regular parent teacher conferences for elementary and
middle schools during the year.
Additional Parent-Teacher Conferences
At
least two additional parent conference days are held at each
school for students who are not making adequate progress toward
standards. Each school selects these days from among the
approved early release
days. On these days students are dismissed
on the early release schedule.
Schools
needing more conference time for students not meeting standards
can request additional time according to certain guidelines.
