School and District Performance Reports for 2001 – 02 Available

Performance reports of the 2001 – 02 school year are now available for the Bellingham School District and each of its schools. Parents have received copies for each of their children’s schools; District reports have been provided to school and community constituents.

Annual reporting requirements were expanded this year to include the components of the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA or “No Child Left Behind”). ESEA/NCLB creates additional reporting requirements for schools, districts and the state beyond the state-mandated annual report. District and school federal reporting requirements are reported online at http://www.k12.wa.us/edprofile/.

In addition, printed copies are available for each school and for the District at all school locations. A full set of resource copies for the District and all of its schools is available in the School Information Office at the District Administration Building, 1306 Dupont St., and at the Reference Desk at the Bellingham Public Library at 210 Central.
