We need a Focus Group folder in Y:drive accessible to everyone Philosophical model guiding the work with children and youth demonstrating troubling behavior Optional, school has some say on who participates, parents pay – SpEd “stays out of it” regarding decision making, application process that does not require rational Section 1 – part time, higher functioning at Options HS Section 2 – full day/supported environment at BHS Introduce goals Consistent scheduling (common time to meet) “Make or Break” Schedule is the #1 barrier for SDI delivery Time for RTI model problem-solving team IEP related time – hard to find time Sp Ed last to be considered for music, library, etc (how to pull groups) IA time dictated by other things (lunch duty, etc) Data gathering is hindered General Ed/Admin participation is difficult Handbook/checklist Questions Re: Eval and IEP PBS plan and support to implement interventions |
