Zephyr Tec Dragon Naturally Speaking training at BHS

2/10/04 and 2/24/04 trainings are finished. Last training will be 3/23/04. 2 hours with each student per training. Going well

 

WYNN training at SQHS (Korbmacher's room) for BHS student

 

•  Sue T will ask either Laura Horan or Bobbi Vollendorf to help coordinate training.

•  Transportation needed

(Post-meeting note – State bid for WYNN is $795 – WYNN Wizard (vs $995) & $350 WYNN reader (single copy) (vs $425 ) – via SETC deadline June 30, 2004

Vantage – student at Silver Beach Preschool

Adults do all setup work to avoid damage

•  (Post-meeting note: Per Sandee Sternhagen, insurance covers stolen (not broken) equipment only. Deductible is $5000.)

WWU Hearing Clinic Meeting

Increasing need for FM systems

Audiologists are recommending FM systems for all students with hearing losses

FM systems keep kids in mainstream

Delta Talker

Student moves to Ferndale 2004-2005. We will retain Delta Talker. What will we do with it? Could it be used as an assessment tool? Could it be sold?

•  It needs to be refurbished and cleaned. (Post-meeting note – warranty expires May 26, 2004 and cannot be renewed. We'll try to send it in before if student can bring personal Delta Talker to school.)

•  Bring refurbished Delta Talker to first Asst. Tech. Mtg in fall – Toni will demo

•  Per Pat – could be used at Sehome Lifeskills
