Meeting Minutes      Date:  September 22, 2006

• Meeting attendees:  Pat Contor, Darcy Fusch, John Glenn, Danene Park, Terry Pauls, Ann Reed, Carol Reppun, Ken Russell, Debbie Servoss, Sue Thomas, and Karen Tracy

• Tablet PC – Carol will find instruction book and copy Ann Reed’s recommended pages for committee members.

• Purchase of computer for Roosevelt student – Sue Thomas will follow up with current teacher

• Wynn Wizard installation at Community Transitions – working well per Pat Contor

• Resource Gateway computer purchase update.  (3 computers purchased – (1) Jan Dustrude, Carl Cozier, (2) Silver Beach 2nd Resource room, (3) Liz Marie – Alderwood)

• 2006-2007 Budget – significant reduction

• Geneva request for RFB&D membership and listening device update – update – student has moved to Happy Valley.  Waiting for parent to return completed application.  John Glenn gave information on Washington Talking Book & Braille Library as an alternative to RFB&D

• Northern Heights – Kyla Stefani Boardmaker upgrade – Darcy will follow up 
• Northern Heights Preschool – Go Talk 9 – Carol will purchase
• Northern Heights (Sorter) Alphasmart – Pat will follow up 
• Sehome referral (KH & EP) (Cindy Pearson) – newer PC, Switch Interface Pro – Pat will follow up 
• Geneva – Touch monitor  - Danene will follow up
• Geneva - Jody Benjamin SETC referral – tabled until after evaluation
• BHS Lifeskills – Software & Switch Interface Pro – Carol will purchase
• BHS referral – Donnett Brown for S.Z. – John Glenn will follow up
• Silver Beach Preschool – Plastic slipcover for Go Talk ($1) – Carol will purchase items for repair of equipment placed  by Asst. Tech. unless cost is too high
• Shuksan – 6 copies of CoWriter – Asst. Tech has copies available now.  No purchase necessary now. 
• Shuksan – Reading Pen & earphones – Carol will purchase earphones and loan reading pen to school.  Need to have safe place to store reading pen when not in use. 
• Shuksan Lifeskills – 3 computer programs – Carol will purchase – Need to get feedback from teacher at year end to see how often it’s used, quality, etc.   
• Fairhaven Dragon – Carol will train student on tablet pc voice recognition system.  After training, John and Danene will observe and make recommendations.

• District Technology Plan Task Force (Ann Reed) – Terry Pauls will join this task force.  Pat Contor will join task force for last meeting of year.

• Infrared printer for Sunnyland (John Glenn) – John will follow-up, determine best printer for PacMate and submit request to Network Services.
