Support Services
The
Instructional Technology & Libraries Program supports the Information
Literacy Goals of the District (the
Research Cycle and Information
Literacy Standards)
and the District's Standards
for School Libraries. We are guided by National
Guidelines, called Information
Power.
Support for all school libraries in the Bellingham Public
Schools is achieved through district-allotted funding
per student, creating equity of access to library resources
for all students, regardless of school attended. All librarians
follow the Library Collection
Management guidelines.
Local Libraries contains
links to the city and county libraries, and to the three
high school libraries in Bellingham.
